 Recognising its responsibility towards the weaker sections of our society, Mansarovar Eye Hospital has a charitable section called Mansarovar Eye Foundation.
MEF is a registered society having renowned and respectable people from all walks of life as its members. The objective is to provide quality eye care services to the poor in the city and in rural areas. This is done by running free clinics in the outskirts of Lucknow, partiularly Chinhat and Gosaiganj, and a subsidised eye clinic at the base hospital.
Apart from this eye camps are conducted in collaboration with various clubs and social service organisations, twice a month. The patients are given the best treatment at the lowest rates and most of the time  medicines are provided free of cost. Operations for cataract, glaucoma and retina are done.
Donations for carrying out this humanitarian work are solicited from all who visit this site. Donations through cheques in the favour of 'Mansarovar Eye Foundation' are welcome. Donors will get a full report including photographs on how the money was spent.
- $100 will help provide the medicines of a patient needing the treatment of a disease like a corneal ulcer or glaucoma or uveitis or help in getting a pair of glasses.
- A gift of $300 will support the free cataract surgery with IOL or glaucoma surgery of one patient.
- $600 will allow a poor patient to undergo a free major vitreo-retinal procedure.
